RF Pettigrew Ecological Playground

RF Pettigrew has an amazing opportunity to work with faculty and a graduate student from the University of Georgia College of Environment + Design to develop plans for an Ecological Playground on school grounds. An Ecological Playground is a playspace that incorporates natural and historical features into playground equipment. For example, playground elements could include log slides, native trees and grasses, and elements that reflect the journey of the explorers Lewis and Clark.

Starting Fall (2017), a graduate student from UGA began work on a design plan for the Ecological Playground.
